Our passion for creating artistic handmade products for everyday use is only equal to our passion for sustainability and protecting the environment. At MMV Designs we strive to use sustainable materials and processes to create our products - and we've just recently taken the next step toward enhancing the sustainability of our operations.

 

Starting in 2022 we are primarily using Acacia wood. Special because it is deep brown in colour with an attractive natural grain, giving a warm rich touch to any home. Acacia's durability means it isn't scratched easily. It's also water-resistant meaning it won't warp readily and is highly resistant to fungus.  As its a hardwood you can expect long-term durability from our cheeseboards and other products.

We are a paper-free office and our business cards, tags, thank you notes and giftboxes are all made with recycled paper. We reuse as much cardboard and wrapping materials as possible to ensure nothing goes to waste. Our production practices are based on reducing, reusing and recycling everything.
